With all the hype and paraphernalia around weddings these days, it’s easy to forget what the day should be about…celebrating your love with your friends and family.
Family were definitely at the forefront of Karen and Nigel’s wedding on the 2nd April at Old Thorns Gold and Country Estate. The day started at Karen’s brother’s house, where she got ready for him to walk her down the aisle and give her away.
Both Nigel and Karen’s children also had important roles to play, acting as bridesmaids and page boys, with Nigel’s son as best man.
The sun shone down on the couple for photos on the top of the Old Thorns’ Golf Course, overlooking the beautiful South Downs.
Friends and family then enjoyed hilarious speeches from the groom and his best man son, before the couple cut the cake and took to the dance floor for their first dance.
A splash of romance and rain brought the day to an end with shots of the couple amidst the April showers.
