For most brides, there is a strict ‘rain rain go away, come again when it isn’t my wedding day!’ mantra. However, when the heavens opened on Charlotte and Jason’s big day, they weren’t going to let anything rain on their parade.
Taking place on the 10th September, the day began with Jason getting suited and booted with the groomsmen, whilst Charlotte got ready with her team of beautiful bridesmaids.
Choosing an elegant grey and purple colour scheme, the men wore traditional mourning suits with purple cravats, complemented by the bridesmaids’ elegant grey dresses. Charlotte’s wedding gown meanwhile was kept secret, until a magical reveal to the bridesmaids as she walked down the stairs.
The wedding ceremony then took place at the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, where the couple’s friends and family joined together in smiles, laughter and tears.
After Charlotte and Jason said their vows, a selection of family and fun bridal photos were taken on the grounds of the church before the wedding party travelled to the Field Farm Project for the reception. Here, everyone enjoyed the fun filled speeches and delicious food, as well as an array of smoke bomb, sparkler and prop photos.
The day was brought to an end as Charlotte and Jason cut their impressive wedding cake and took to the dance floor for two dances, one with all the guests watching and one special private one outside under the stars.
