Strictly Come Dancing star, Joanne Clifton strutted to Southampton, to star in the hit musical, Flashdance.
Alongside, 00’s boyband heart throb, Ben Adams, the pair take us back to the 1980s for a nostaligic tale of an instinctive, unschooled dancer desperate to dance her way out of post-industrial hopelessness.
Set in a factory and exotic-dance club settings, the cast offer a stand out performance of hope and a little romance amid the bleakness – all enhance by a truly-impressive act from Clifton.
Ben Adams is also excellent as the love interest, only let down by poor mixing.
