Snow White has arrived in Southsea for the Kings Theatre’s annual panto…oh yes she has! And with a fantastic mix of fun, humour and of course a lot of festive sparkle, this classic show has everything you need to get you in the Christmas mood this year.
Once again, the theatre has managed to pull together a stellar class with stars including, TV presenter and former glamour girl Melinda Messenger, actress and singer Anita Harris and Portsmouth’s favourite Hollyoaks heartthrob Marcus Patrick.
From start to the audience were in stitches as they followed the traditional story with some chart hits, well-choreographed, energetic dances and topical jokes throughout.
A panto wouldn’t be a panto without a hilarious dame and Dame Sarah Spoilit, played by Jack Edwards, didn’t disappoint with his quick one liners and amazing costumes.
Other star performances came from Simon Grant as Muddles, Hannah Lowther as Snow White, Jordan Adams as Prince Valentine and not forgetting the magnificent seven dwarfs. The show continues until January 1. For tickets go to kingsportsmouth.co.uk.
