Wacky inventions, Wensleydale cheese and a mute dog… not the normal subject of musicals, but then again who likes normal?
We are of course talking about Wallace & Gromit, the famous pair who have lit up our TV screens for over three decades now, since they first took that daring picnic to the moon in A Grand Day Out back in 1989.
They’ve had their fair share of adventures, fighting against a monster rabbit, evil penguins and all with the wrong trousers on but now the pair will feature in a musical tour.
Aardman Animations and Carrot Productions, who also brought The Snowman by Raymond Briggs to the stage, have teamed up to create the Wallace & Gromit’s Musical Marvels show coming to the Hexagon theatre in Reading on June.
